Thomas Kincade

As quiet as it's kept, TK is a solid impressionist painter in the classical sense.
The artist tried to show and sell his classical work, to the public early in his career. Needless to say, people didn't respond to that art.
The rest as they say is history.
You can't make people like what they don't like.
Kincade is banking big still these days.

Business As Usual

I continue to hear people mention how proficient an artist's work is.
Well I have to always say, it doesn't matter how well made the work is, it still has to be sold.
Artists who make, quote, good work, are a dime a dozen.
Business is an art form, business matters.
The sooner artists make peace with the BUSINESS part of their art life the better they will all be.
I am just saying.
